I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. I’m not always quick to tell people about sins I can easily hide. Yet, listen to what the woman at the well did in John 4 after she encountered the Savior. It says, “Then, leaving her water jar, the woman went back to the town and said to the people, ‘Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did.’” Now the townspeople knew she was a loose woman. But she was ready to talk about that and this Jesus who forgave her all her sins. Nothing has more power, nothing is more compelling or convincing than when we open up and share our shortcomings and sins with others. God is honored when we are honest with one another. The book of James says confess your sins one to another, that you may be healed. Well, that is good, honest advice. So today, share your true self whenever you share the truth about Jesus.
