Volunteer at Family Retreat!

Our Family Retreats are filling up fast, but we are in need of more short-term missionaries to serve them. Lots of our Retreats need young, male STM’s right now (to pair with boys and teens with disabilities). But Bob and Ruthie Peterson (on the right) will be helping out, too. They are 72 and 70 and have served at 10 Family Retreats going back to 1997. Last summer, Ruthie led the prayer team for the Minnesota Family Retreat – months before retreat began, she sent out prayer requests to the registered families, and during the Retreat, she held prayer times early each morning, meeting with families who needed prayer. Bob worked a lot behind the scenes, helping with the children’s program, and setting up booths for the carnival, etc. These two love pitching in to help Family Retreat run smoothly. By the way, that’s their daughter Careen with us in the photo – she and I travel together, and we always know that her parents are lifting us up in prayer!
