Thirty-Seven Years of Radio

Today if you were to walk past my office, you might hear a little hootin’ and hollerin.’ It’s been 37 years since I first went on the air with Joni and Friends Radio! Way back when, I didn’t believe I had it in me to do more than a handful of five-minute broadcasts. And now, thousands of programs later, we’re celebrating!

It’s no small thing that God has continued to give me insights from his Word, as well as the breath and lung strength necessary to record program after program. As a quadriplegic, I don’t take that for granted! Nor do I take for granted the listeners who tune in each weekday to hear what God has placed on my heart.

So, join me today in thanking God for his guiding hand on Joni and Friends Radio in the past and in the years to come!
