The Resurrection

Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada and the best part of the story of Jesus, you gotta agree, is the resurrection. Because up until the resurrection, everything’s hard; for Jesus, there was misunderstanding and betrayal; disappointments and pain and suffering. So much rejection and doubt. People just didn’t understand him; they didn’t get it, even when he was impaled on a cross. No one understood the story of Jesus until after the resurrection. Then, the light that had dawned, dazzled with hope and joy. 

You can be happy because of the resurrection. You can have hope, because of it too. Like I Corinthians chapter 15 says, “…if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile…” But Jesus did burst out of the grave, Jesus did explode out of the cemetery and it means new life, fresh hope, and joy eternal. No matter what the season, you are a child of the resurrection. Please, friend, celebrate the best part of Jesus’ story today!
