Tell Everyone
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada, and in Luke chapter 5, a man covered with leprosy came to Jesus crying, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” Well, Jesus reached out and healed the man, but then Jesus strictly told him not to tell anyone about it. Well, the guy could not keep the good news to himself and so he spread the word. It resulted in huge crowds of people seeking Jesus! Like that leper, the Lord has also healed us – and He’s healed us on a much deeper level, giving us freedom from the power of sin. But unlike the leper, God wants us to tell everyone about it! How could we not tell people about the Gospel and how God has changed our lives?! If the crowds came when a man did not heed the words of the Savior, think of what should happen if we do heed His words and tell everyone. So today, spread the word about Jesus – ‘cause you just can’t keep news this great to yourself.
