Sunday Reflections

I follow Justin Taylor’s blog, and recently he posted an AMAZING video showing an unborn baby’s development in the womb: 9 months in 4 minutes! It’s God’s creative genius is on display, and beautifully reflects Psalm 139:16-17, “For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” Sadly, in January 1973, the Supreme Court decision of Roe vs. Wade effectively permitted the legal destruction of the life you see at any point in the pregnancy, from conception until birth. It’s why we “Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter” (Proverbs 24:11).
