Sunday Reflections

CedarsEvery morning when I wheel outside my house to go to Joni and Friends, I pause by the driveway to look up at the stately old cedars which line our property. No matter what the season, the tips of the branches all point straight up to the sky. I think it’s God’s way of reminding me to keep looking up, no matter how difficult quadriplegia or pain becomes. Even Jesus said in Luke 21:28, “…lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” I thank the Lord for opening up the eyes of my heart to see His lessons everywhere (even by my driveway) – and today, I ask you to do the same.
