A Sign in the Sky

Earlier this week I came home exhausted from a busy day at Joni and Friends (and still recuperating from my long trip). What did my girlfriends and I see arcing over my backyard? The most glorious rainbow set against a golden-pink sky! For us, it was a personal sign from God… living proof of Genesis 9:13 where God says, “I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.” The Living Lord of the universe has made a covenant with you and me — and I am heaven-bent on honoring God’s promises to us as I daily trust in Him through every trial. Ask God to open the eyes of your heart to see His wonders in His creation this weekend… and tell me if you see any rainbows!
