Remembering 48 Years Ago

Tomorrow is a special day for Joni. Why? Forty-eight years ago, Joni went swimming and didn’t think to check how deep the water was before she dived in. That’s when she broke her neck and lost her ability to use her hands and feet! As you can imagine, when she realized she would never walk or use her hands again, she didn’t think God could use her. She could never have guessed the great plans God had for her! Are there reasons that you wonder whether God can use you? Maybe the weaknesses you see in yourself are exactly the things God wants to work through! Take a minute to pray and ask God to work through the things you don’t like about yourself to show others how He is a good God.
