Role Models

A camper and STM chatting at Family RetreatDo you have a role model? A role model is someone you look up to and want to be like. Maybe your mom and dad are your role models, or an older sibling, or a teacher. But did you know you can be a role model, too? Titus 2:7 says, “In everything set them an example by doing what is good.” You can be an example to other kids in how you respect adults and in how you treat other kids. But that is not all! You can be an example to people who are older than you, too. Like 1 Timothy 4:12 says, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.” Is there something you know you can do to be a good example to your friends and family? We’d love to hear your ideas!
