Pray for Japan!

Earthquakes. A tsunami. Nuclear disaster. Not since WWII has Japan suffered such devastation. And although the Fukushima nuclear complex, with its six reactors, is closer to being under control, an enormous amount of rebuilding and healing still faces the Japanese people. The recent disasters, however, may well open up unprecedented opportunities for God’s people to proclaim the love of Christ, as well as portray His love through acts of mercy. This could well launch in Japan a second wave of missionary outreach, much like what occurred after WWII. Join Christians around the globe as together we pray…

  • Ask God to use the recent tragedies to prompt people everywhere to seek the Lord
  • Pray for healing among the survivors who have lost their families and homes
  • Plead for God to protect the elderly and children and those newly disabled from the tragedies
  • Ask God to protect the scores of workers who are currently repairing the Fukushima nuclear complex
  • Pray that Japanese Christians will be ready to respond to those asking questions about God and His design
  • Ask the Lord to soften the hearts of the Japanese people toward the Gospel
  • Pray for the success of missions organizations like the Samaritan’s Purse who are bringing supplies into the nation
  • Ask the Lord to bring renewal to the Japanese church and revival to the nation of Japan
