Is it possible that one event can inspire both fear and joy? Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada and the resurrection does that. In one sense, it inspires great joyBut in another sense, it can inspire a little fear. Jesus said in John chapter 5, “…a time is coming when all  who have done what is good will rise from their graves and they’ll live, and those who rise who have done evil will be condemned.” That should cause your knees to shake. Because we never picture the faces we see every day as, as rising from the grave to be either condemned or to live. But Jesus is going to come back and judge the living and the dead. Who are the living? Well your cleaning lady, the bank teller, your children’s school teacheryour favorite barista at Starbucks; it’s your next-door neighbor, and maybe, maybe your sister. So let’s get busy telling the living about Jesus. Do it before they die.
