Patience Like His

Samuel's Letter BoardHi, it’s me again, Samuel! I want to explain what a letter-board is and how I use it. Because it is so simple, many people have a hard time making sense of it. As you can see in the picture, it is simply the alphabet printed on paper which is laminated. Depending on who is helping me I am able to point to letters to spell what I think; what I like; what I dream; what I want; how I feel; and higher thoughts like how I know and love Jesus. Some people do not understand that pointing can be hard for someone who has autism. How hard? It was like learning a foreign language very quickly! Yes, using the letter-board can be time consuming, so I need to have patience. I often ask the Lord to grant me patience like His. Ephesians 4:2 says, “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.”
