More Than You Imagine

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!”

Ephesians 3:20-21

Everyone wants to see God do great things in their life, right? Ephesians 3 assures us that “he is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory.” From this, we can see that God’s purpose in doing great things through you is to primarily display his glory.

The promise in Ephesians 3:20 is more about him than you. Do you need courage in a difficult situation? The Lord is ready to pour out immeasurably more courage than you can think possible. Are your hopes dim? God can raise them higher than you dare ask. Do you wish to be bolder in Christ? God’s power can make you fearless beyond your wildest dreams. These are all things God wants to do in your life. And why? So that his glory will shine immeasurably more through you!
