Mary Jane

Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. We all need encouragers in our lives and mine is Mary Jane. She’s a grandmother in her late-70s with significant cerebral palsy, but she loves joining Wheels for the World teams to go and pray and encourage those who receive wheelchairs… And she does it all at her “encouragement table.” This dear elderly saint sits behind her table loaded with all kinds of Christian materials and she spends time counseling these new recipients of our wheelchairs, reminding them that they, too, can overcome their disability with God’s grace.
