March is Wheelchair Collection Month!

We invite you to get involved! Download one of our lock screen images to be reminded to pray for Wheels for the World! More than 70 million people worldwide are in need of a wheelchair, yet only 10% have access to one.* In less-resourced countries, a person with limited mobility is often relegated to a back bedroom with no access to attend school, go to work, or be part of their community. We want to change this! Our hope is that as you look down at your phone, you think of people like sweet Melissa whose life can be transformed through a wheelchair and Bible given by Wheels for the World.

We also you invite you to take action! This month we are holding wheelchair drives across the country to bring awareness to the mobility crisis. You can donate a manual wheelchair or mobility device at a drive near you or connect with one of our Chair Corps volunteers to arrange a pick-up or drop-off. We’re also looking for volunteers to join our Chair Corps team and help collect wheelchairs!

The gift of a wheelchair changes everything – a wheelchair literally lifts someone out of the dirt and into a seat of dignity and opportunity. Thank you for joining us in celebrating our annual Wheelchair Collection Month!
