It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Fall!

Have you noticed a change in the weather lately? Are your trees turning from green to yellow and orange? Is it getting colder on the way to school in the morning? That’s because it’s almost fall! The first day of autumn is September 22nd. And a lot of cool things happen in the fall. We celebrate Columbus Day on October 8th. (Can you say, “In fourteen hundred ninety-two, Columbus sailed the ocean blue”?) Then Reformation Day honors the work of a Christian man named Martin Luther. And then, of course, is Thanksgiving: one of the most important holidays of the season. It is a time to thank the Lord for our country, families, churches and friends.
