To celebrate 40 years of ministry, Joni and Friends, the leading global nonprofit providing Christian ministry to people impacted by disability, unveiled a new logo.
“I never want Joni and Friends to be centered on me and my work; it’s about our mission together, all the ‘friends’ we serve, and the Lord Jesus Christ. As we celebrate our 40-year milestone, Joni and Friends is also entering a new era of global ministry… I am excited to introduce this new logo that represents our mission and the people we serve.”
–Joni Eareckson Tada, Founder and CEO of Joni and Friends
The new global icon showcases abstract figures or ‘friends’ of the ministry – you! This community of friends supports each other inwardly, upholding Bibles, as they extend the Gospel out into the world.
Joni and Friends is written lowercase and reads as one word to represent a fully integrated ministry working together as one with the community. No matter how you are involved… we are all a friend in Joni and Friends.
The new tone of blue represents the heart of Joni and Friends. It’s brighter, communicating friendship and hope, reminding us of our true home…Heaven. Everyone is welcome, regardless of ability.
