Keep Your Vision

Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada, and I’m the kind of person who enjoys a challenge. Like, you know, if there’s a deadline looming? I welcome that pressure‘cause I know that a deadline helps me get things done. Without a challenge, sometimes people tend to fall away. Vision helps people get motivated, though, and stay motivated. Even the great artist Michelangelo prayed, “Lord, grant that I may always desire more than I can accomplish.” It’s why the Bible says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” Friend, God has given you a challenge, so don’t fall away. The pressure is on because you have a deadline, and it’s written in Acts 20:24, where God says that your “only aim is to… complete the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.” So, get motivated. Get it done! Before tomorrow, tell someone about the good news of God’s grace. That is your vision for today.
