January Coloring Pages

Evian GuyOn Wednesday we looked at one of Joni’s paintings of a snowy day. Did you learn anything about parts of a picture that seem to be empty? Today you can have more practice with that idea. In this month’s coloring pages, the pictures have lots of snow and lots of empty space. Try drawing things like plants and animals in the white space and see what happens. Or you can even see how the picture changes if you color the snow so it looks like mud or grass. If you want, try the same picture a couple different ways. Which look do you like best? Why do you think that is?
