It Warms My Heart
“I learned about Joni and Friends from my daughter Cathy. She and Joni were chemo buddies. They became quite good friends during their treatment.
Cathy called me right away after her first visit to Joni and Friends and said “Mom, you have to do this. You live a few blocks away, there’s no excuse.” So for a while, my daughter and I came together to volunteer, and now I’m doing it alone. She’s in heaven now. I say that I do it for her but I do it for me too, I love this place.”
