How Has God Used My Story?

The other day someone asked me, “Joni, how do you think your life has blessed this ministry?”

Well, I think my life is a reminder of God’s power showing up best in weakness.

I’ve told you before, that I wake up in the morning even now, and I think to myself, “God, I’m so tired of this quadriplegia. Lord Jesus, I have no strength for the day. But I can do all things through you, as you strengthen me.”

Oh, my goodness, I think that’s how my life blesses us all at Joni & Friends. Reminding us, God’s power shows up best in weakness. So, don’t be ashamed of that limitation. Boast in the disability. Because then you know, God’s power rests on you. 

That’s what we believe at Joni and Friends.
