Honoring Caregivers

As National Family Caregivers month comes to a close, it is fitting I share a video of a wonderful event our Joni and Friends Greater Philadelphia team put on: Caregivers’ Day of Pampering. All the caregivers attending went home spiritually, emotionally, and physically refreshed. And it’s no wonder! Over 140 volunteers lavished hands-on love including massages, beauty salon services, free shopping, great food (including lots of chocolate), crafts, and tender times of prayer. What’s more, a group of guys was outside washing their cars. That’s what I call love in action!
