God Meant It
Your problems have more purpose than you can imagine. Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada, and I love the story of Joseph detailed in the Bible. You know it: Joseph’s brothers threw him into a pit, and then allowed him to be sold into slavery. From there he was accused of rape, thrown in jail, and then forgotten by someone who owed him a favor. When Joseph finally gets out of prison and is elevated to a new status, he confronts his But brothers saying, in Genesis Chapter 50, “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good… (now get this) to save many lives.” And it’s true. God used Joseph to save thousands of people from a terrible famine.
So, what difficult things has God allowed so that you might be the platform from which God saves many lives? God always intends to rescue the lives of others through he difficulties he allows in your life.
