Everyone Can Help

You may have noticed that during the month of March, Joni and Friends has been talking about how we’re working to solve the mobility crisis through nationwide wheelchair collection events. This includes a wheelchair drive near our Joni and Friends Headquarters on Friday, March 29th!

Everyone in the community can get involved in collecting wheelchairs! I recently heard that my friend Neko, a little boy with Down syndrome, was out helping with the Joni and Friends Bay Area Wheelchair Drive! I’ll tell you, it just touched my heart to hear how he jumped right in to help our Chair Corps team load their trailer!

Every wheelchair we collect is restored and gifted with a Bible to someone in need. It is an opportunity for someone impacted by disability to experience the love and hope of Jesus!

So, would you join me and Joni and Friends in working together to end the mobility crisis…and share the hope of Christ while we’re at it? Go out into your community and find any manual wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, canes and even wheelchair parts that can be donated!

Then come and tell everyone you know about the Joni and Friends Wheelchair Drive on March 29th from 4pm-6pm at Lighthouse Church in Newbury Park, CA!

We can’t wait to see you there!
