What to know about Chile:

Chile extends approximately 2,700 miles (about 4345.23 km) from its boundary with Peru to the tip of South America at Cape Horn. Chile is the first country to conduct the country-wide implementation of the Model Disability Survey (MDS) as part of the Second National Study on Disability (ENDISC II). Although Chileans are generally accepting of people living with disabilities, there remains minimal accessibility for people with disabilities, as well as a lack of enforcement of equal rights laws, causing discrimination, prejudice, and poverty among families living with disability. We encourage you to come with us as we fulfill the Great Commission and Jesus’ command in Luke 14 to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to help meet the needs of those in Chile living with disabilities.

While a license to travel and a visa are required, Joni and Friends will Cost and Safety Protocols: The cost for this outreach is all-inclusive; however, any pre-outreach vaccination requirements are the responsibility of each individual traveler. Outreach costs may vary for applicants outside of the 48 contiguous United States. Wheels for the World™️ will adhere to country protocols related to health and safety requirements.
