Corporate Internship: International Disability Center
January 1 - December 31
Estimated cost: Dependent on internship length and location
Corporate Interns serving at the International Disability Center will have the unique opportunity to gain insight into the insiders view of a disability ministry, non-profit environment. Serving at the Joni and Friends headquarters, interns will gain perspective of our unique culture of integration across our departments and Field Offices. Interns will be paired with one or two departments of Joni and Friends, harmonizing their area of interest and skill sets to their assigned position. Every intern at Joni and Friends is granted the opportunity to use their gifts and talents to further ministry to those affected by disability.
Our desire is that every intern is adopted into the family and culture of Joni and Friends. Your internship will not only contain daily tasks and projects, but also intentional times of training and mentorship. Our hope is that this internship will develop you as a young leader, helping take you to the next step in God’s journey for your life. Whether you’re pursuing Christian ministry or want to learn how to use your technical skill set to serve the disability community, we want to help you envision your future and meet your goals.
Corporate Internships are available any time of the year and are flexible in length. Cause 4 Life will facilitate a host home and transportation for the internship, if needed. Interns needing these services should budget around $50/day for their internship costs. We do our best to create an internship around your schedule and according to your needs. If you desire to fulfill a requirement for school, please send all information and internship requirements to email@example.com. Please contact us for a list of placement options at our International Disability Center.
Note: Not all Departments have the capacity to have an intern during every season. Please understand every internship is designed around the needs of the intern and the availability of the department.
“I have grown up with a disability. God has given me a perspective of how He sees me through this internship. I do have skills that can contribute to society!” – Kelsie Cain, Corporate Intern
