Evangelicals for Life Conference
Whenever I attend a Family Retreat, or see images of children receiving their first wheelchair through Wheels for the World, I pray for the many children with disabilities we serve. Because as J.R.R. Tolkien once said, “Even the smallest person can change the course of the future.” Children are our future, yet so many children with disabilities are being robbed of a future because of the staggering rates of abortion in our country and infanticide overseas. We live in a society that does not uphold God’s view of life — and as Christians, we need to be a voice for the voiceless, and “speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute” (Proverbs 31:8). It’s why I am so excited for the first-ever, Evangelicals for Life conference, to be held this coming January 21-22 in Washington DC, where pro-life leaders from across the country will be equipping believers to advocate for life. And if like me you cannot make it to the conference, you must take advantage of the free, live online simulcast of the event (you might even ask your Bible study or church to join in!). In honor of Sanctity of Life week, let’s tell our world that EVERY life is valuable!
