Daisy the Horse

This is a picture of Kinsey with Daisy, the horse. Do you notice something special about Daisy? She’s not big like most horses! Daisy is a miniature horse and loves to help kids and grown ups with disabilities. She’s too little to let people ride her, but she has other important jobs. She is just the right size to be a friend to Kinsey. Doesn’t Kinsey look like she loves petting the horse? Kinsey’s disability makes it hard for her to reach very far, but Daisy is right there making it easier for her! Daisy put her head up close to Kinsey’s wheelchair and stood there a long time so Kinsey could pet her. Kinsey was so happy! Do you ever feel like you are too little to do important things? Well next time you feel this way, just remember Daisy the miniature horse! You are never too little to be a friend to someone with a disability.
