Courage coloring with her feetDo you like to color? As you’ve grown, you’ve probably spent time coloring at home, at school, and even at church during Sunday school! However, for some of us, coloring may not be a simple task. Some people like Joni and this little girl in Haiti aren’t able to use their hands. This little girl has cerebral palsy and only started walking 5 months ago. But she didn’t let that discourage her! In fact, she uses her feet to hold her crayons and color! In the Bible, we are told to be courageous. Joshua 1:9 says, “This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” So the next time you are discouraged, remember this little girl and her courage to keep trying. But more importantly, remember that God is with you so that you can be strong and courageous!
