Christian’s Special Talent

How do you feel when someone tells you that you can’t do something? Maybe they say you are too little or too slow or not smart enough. It can hurt a lot, can’t it? Christian is a boy who was told that he was too slow and couldn’t learn anything! But the truth is that he just hadn’t found the special talents God had saved just for him. One day someone helped Christian make dishes and bowls out of clay, and Christian had so much fun! The more Christian learned about making clay pottery, the more everyone could see that he had a special ability to make these pretty designs! So what can we learn from Christian? If you are feeling sad because you can’t kick a soccer ball the right way or you can’t get an A+ on your spelling test, don’t give up! Keep trying, and keep trying new things.
