A Busy Tuesday…

There’s nothing quite like spring in our nation’s capital! Thanks for praying us through our cross-country flight; today we embark on a busy and exciting day. First, is a ministry-lunch with a local couple who have a disability (wherever I go, I love connecting with wheelchair users and their spouses). Next, is a tour of Jill’s House in McLean Virginia – this extraordinary home was built and dedicated last year to accommodate children with disabilities whose parents need respite. The evening? Ken and I will be taking part in a special banquet honoring Shirley Dobson’s 20 years of service as chair of the National Day of Prayer. Then the countdown begins for the National Day of Prayer – I join you even now in lifting up the leaders and people of America :-).
