Bobbie is… Safe

Over the weekend, I shared how Bobbie is ‘singing her way to heaven.’ Well, this morning she said ‘Amen’ to Earth and stepped onto Heaven’s celestial shore – she finished her battle against cancer and is now whole and healthy in the presence of Christ. A few hours ago her husband, Robert Wolgemuth, wrote the following:

“For the past fifteen years or so, every time one of us arrives safely after a flight or a long road trip, we text one word to each other. ‘Safe.’ Now, our Bobbie is safe. The moment Bobbie stepped into heaven, we sang a song that we used to love to sing as a family… as a quartet. This time we sang it as a trio.

Come let us worship and bow down.
Let us kneel before our God our maker.
For He is our God. And we are the people of His pasture.
And the sheep of His hand.
Just the sheep of His hand.

“Several weeks ago, I stood on the balcony at our house and watched Bobbie walk past. Singing while she walked was something she loved to do. On this day she was singing, Trust and Obey. A song we learned as kids but a song filled with a wonderful understanding of God, His Word and how His sheep could understand living in obedience and tender fellowship with Him.” – Robert
