Playing Hooky

My sister Jay Kay (on the right) has been visiting Ken and me for the last week, and although we’ve been at Joni and Friends doing projects, on Tuesday we decided to skip work and garden :-). Of course, I had to ask Francie (my secretary-with-the-green-thumb) to join us. After a visit to the local nursery, Jay got out the shovel, Francie donned her gloves, and we planted lavender and succulents in the backyard. I say “we,” because I “borrowed their hands” to do the planting – God bless you, Francie and Jay, for making my day!
