My Gratitude Journal

Gratitude JournalIt’s Thanksgiving week, and we have much for which to be grateful to God – health, strength, safety and so much more. But if, for you, this seems to be a season of loss or great hardship, remember Habakkuk. He said, “Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior” (Habakkuk 3:17-18). Despite hard times, I pray you’ll “be joyful in God your Savior” (if a guy who ‘lost the farm’ could do it, you can, too). And I have something that’ll help you. On my radio page this week I’m posting a Gratitude journal – it’s a seven-day journal for you to download. Then, use it to list God’s blessings in your life – it’s a great way to help you reflect on God’s goodness throughout Thanksgiving week (and you might want toinclude Habakkuk 3:17-18 in your journal, too :-).
