MMB interns serving at Family RetreatMMB interns in Haiti

After a busy and fruitful month, our Ministry and Missions Bootcamp (MMB) interns have returned to their homes around the US. We’re already missing their smiling faces around the International Disability Center! Their first week was filled with Beyond Suffering course training to build a strong biblical foundation for their service the following weeks. After that, the group headed up north to the Santa Cruz mountains to serve at the Mission Springs Family Retreat. Each intern was paired up with a specific family and was able to serve alongside our incredible STM volunteers! For the final week, the MMB interns flew south to the heart-wrenching country of Haiti for a glimpse of the plight of people with disabilities internationally. The lessons that they learned during each stage of their internship will definitely stick with them for the rest of their lives! Their response to the MMB internship? In their words:

MMB interns at the International Disability Center

“This internship was absolutely life-changing… I was truly blessed by this experience from start to finish…I am excited to take what I have learned and see how God uses it in my life…Thank you so much for providing an opportunity to see God’s heart for individuals touched by disability in a new way!”
