Disability has always been a part of Eva’s (shown left in photo) life. Growing up with her brother, James, on the Autism spectrum, she’s always had the desire to adopt skills to help her brother solve the every-day challenges he faces. This turned into a calling to minister to people in the disability community, so when she heard about our Cause 4 Life internship in Uganda, she was ready to join the team!

While in Uganda, Eva went through our Beyond Suffering Curriculum and was trained on the biblical view of disability, a theology of suffering, and a practical application of serving people affected by disability. She also visited the Kampala School for the Physically Handicapped, where she was able to share special needs resources with the teachers and staff...

You Sent the Truth and Love of Jesus Worldwide!

You’ve shared the good news of the Gospel in Ghana, Cuba, Brazil, and Peru through Wheels for the World. Through your prayers and generosity, you provided these children with new opportunities and hope in Jesus! With every wheelchair you send, each recipient receives a Bible and a Joni book in their language. They also receive a Gospel bracelet as they hear the Gospel from a local pastor. The Gospel Bracelet consists of six beads: black representing sin (Rom. 3:23); red representing Christ’s blood (Rom. 5:8); white representing forgiveness (Isa. 1:18); blue representing baptism (Acts 2:42); green representing growth (2 Pet. 3:18); and yellow...

We’re so excited for what God has planned for our Poland International Family Retreat this year! Held on the coast of the Baltic Sea, this Retreat gives families affected by disability a place to connect while participating in Bible studies, worship, crafts, games, and more.

Our team will be led by Heather, one of our fantastic Short-Term Missionaries (STMs) who serves each year at our Spruce Lake Family Retreat. But last year, Heather stepped out in faith and traveled overseas to experience Family Retreat in Poland. And almost immediately, she was blown away by the integration of the international body of Christ! They all worked together as a team to...
