APU comes to Joni and Friends

On Friday, November 18, students from Azusa Pacific University traveled to the JAF International Disability Center to learn about our Gospel outreach to special-needs families around the world. These exceptional students are taking APU’s class “Suffering: Theological and Practical Perspectives on Disabilities” which our team at the Joni and Friends’ Christian Institute on Disability (CID) helped design. They spent the day learning about Jesus’ mandate in Luke 14 to reach out to the disabled “so that my Father’s house may be filled.” Join us in praying that these young people will carry the banner of Jesus Christ into the careers for which they are preparing! Also, be praying for Ken and me on Monday morning, November 21, as we head to Biola University where we will be speaking at another CID-designed course on disability ministry!
