Amy in Cuba

Old WheelchairWhen Amy was a kid, she had a really old wheelchair. It was too big for her, too. It was so big and so old that even as a teenager, she couldn’t push the chair by herself. But a friend was watching out for her and told her about Joni and Friends coming to give away wheelchairs. At the distribution site there were so many people that she did not think she would get a wheelchair. But God had a wheelchair for her. When the therapists were done fitting the new chair to Amy, she was so happy that it was just her size! Her new wheelchair helped her get around by herself for 13 years before it got too old. Amy’s friend may not have thought he was doing very much, but his kind actions helped Amy for many years. Are you someone who watches out for friends in need? You may never know how your little acts of help last for a long time!
