Thailand
Ministry: Join us on our outreach and wheelchair distribution to Thailand where we will distribute Bibles, wheelchairs and share the gospel to people affected by disability. On this outreach we will be partnering with other missionary agencies and churches in this largely Buddhist yet religiously tolerant Southeast Asian country of 64 million people. Join us in our fourth outreach to Thailand where the team will distribute Thai Bibles and Joni books, wheelchairs and other equipment. The gospel will be shared by the team, accompanied by Thai missionary and church partners.

Ghana 1 & 2
Ministry: Experience cross- cultural ministry and learn about Ghana's people and culture. Teams will distribute wheelchairs to the needy, speak and teach at various venues on disability issues, as well as work on accessibility construction projects. You will also have the opportunity to share Christ in small towns, remote villages, health care facilities, churches and schools.

Cuba 1 & 2
Ministry: Enjoy cross-cultural ministry in the beautiful country of Cuba. Work in a team environment with Cuban nationals and other US team members to professionally fit wheelchairs while nationals offer the gift of a Bible. Representatives from the Cuban Council of Churches and the national disability organization of Cuba host the outreach. Experience wonderful hospitality and get a glimpse into the culture and heritage while providing life changing mobility to people affected by disability.

Mexico
Ministry: Our third International Mission Outreach will be 2008 with hopes and plans for many more to follow. Wheelchair distribution, Disability Awareness Training and other opportunities will be part of the Team's experience on this exciting outreach to spread Christ's love and provide the gift of mobility

Ministry: The Joni and Friends team will distribute wheelchairs in one or more cities in India. Team members may also have opportunities to present workshops to the community on topics related to disability awareness, physical therapy, disability ministry and special education. Poland
Ministry: Experience the cross-cultural ministry of Wheels for the World as you learn about the people and culture of Poland. You will travel as a team around the country doing distributions in 7 different cities. The team will distribute wheelchairs to people with disabilities in a variety of venues such as churches, rehabilitation centers and government facilities. We will partner with the local church and the gospel will be shared at each distribution. The team will have opportunity to encourage the local church in the development of their own disability ministry. They will visit the Joni and Friends Poland office as well as tour the wheelchair restoration center housed in a Warsaw prison.

Romania
Ministry: This outreach is definitely a life changing experience. You will have the opportunity to serve the forgotten and desperate. Our teams work alongside churches and local disability groups. We will distribute wheelchairs; hold disability focused workshops and may be a part of accessibility construction projects. Come join us as we change lives one wheelchair at a time.

Peru 1 & 2
Ministry: This is an opportunity to experience short- term mission work in the beautiful Spanish speaking country. Join one of four wheelchair distribution teams to serve either in the capital city of Lima, or in a city located in the beautiful Peruvian countryside. Peru 2, One City-One Nation partners, will be held in the city of Lima, which is located at sea level and is the capital of Peru. Peruvian therapists and mechanics are trained to work alongside the U.S. team members as we minister physically, emotionally, and spiritually to people with disabilities and their families. There are also opportunities to worship "Peruvian-style" and learn more about our Peruvian brothers and sisters in Christ. This is a wonderful outreach to share the love of Jesus and receive the blessings of being used by God in furthering His kingdom.

Ukraine
Ministry: Experience cross-cultural ministry and learn about the people and culture of Ukraine. The team will distribute wheelchairs to the disabled at a variety of venues and will share disability ministry techniques with the local churches. Distribution will be held in 6-7cities in churches and rehabilitation centers. The Gospel will be shared at each distribution. The team will travel quite extensively. Flexibility and endurance will be key personal qualities of team members.

Guatemala 1 & 2
Ministry: Feel the love of Jesus as we reach out to the disabled of Guatemala, distributing Bibles, wheelchairs, and other equipment. Experience the culture of this Latin American country and its warm and friendly people.

Brazil Ministry: Wheelchair distribution, teaching, and other opportunities will be developed in urban and remote communities in Brazil. We will build relationships with churches and disability/healthcare/public organizations. Join Brazilians and US team members who are energetic and excited about sharing the Gospel and wheelchairs with adults and children.

China Ministry: Our China outreaches work in a country of nearly 4 billion people, where less than 1 percent of the population are Christians. Our teams minister by distributing wheelchairs, Bibles, and Christian literature to those with disabilities. We have begun work with seminaries and other professionals in country, offering training in disability ministry to those studying for the ministry and have had experience in training healthcare personnel in wheelchair seating. The Chinese culture presents a rich experience for our teams and offers unique challenges for ministry. It is exciting to watch God work in a country which was closed to His word for so long.
