Special Delivery Ministry

Visitation & Care

Special Delivery is an opportunity to bring encouragement, friendship and the Good News of Jesus Christ to children and adults with disabilities, whose lives are hidden behind the walls of homes, hospitals, rehabilitation centers and long-term care facilities.

You and your church can take part in helping create simple, personalized gift baskets full of spiritually encouraging materials, to hand-deliver with joy. As Christ’s love is extended in this way, friendships are built and recipients find new hope in God’s love for them. Special Delivery offers a simple vehicle for establishing continuing ministry with physically isolated people, who are often hungry for relationships.

Joni and Friends will provide comprehensive training on CD (click here to request the CD), and a startup supply of gift basket items to help get you going.

Gift Baskets Include (but are not limited to): Bibles, Inspirational books and devotionals, Children’s books, Stuffed animals, Christian music CDs and Christian DVDs, Journals, and gift items tailored to the individual’s need.
