It’s Our Anniversary!

For Ken and me, the first week of July marks a weeklong celebration – on July 3, we will celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Three decades ago, at Grace Community Church, Dr. John MacArthur pronounced us ‘man and wife’ – from there, we walked over to the reception where we sliced into our all-time favorite cake: champagne-custard cake with whipped cream frosting. So guess what we’ll be treating the Joni and Friends staff to on the afternoon of July 3? You’ve got it: a full sheet of the best cake ever. Ken and I thank God for the prayers of his people who have supported us in our marriage – I’m married to a wonderful man who loves Christ, his wife, and the ministry we enjoy together :-). Onward and upward in the grace of God!
