Meet My Friend, Karen Brown

Karen BrownThis past summer, you may remember me sharing a poem written by a woman named Karen Brown on my radio broadcast. I was captivated by Karen’s beautiful use of words, but when I later learned Karen’s story—oh my goodness, I was so inspired! That’s because Karen has been living with Multiple Sclerosis for 28 years and is now unable to move any part of her body except her head. Like me, Karen uses a headset to dictate words of encouragement to others who are going through hardships. Oh friend, you just have to get to know my friend Karen Brown. Just tune-in to today’s radio broadcast to hear more about this remarkable woman. And don’t forget to download Karen’s poems and then, share them with others. Be inspired, as I was, to live out Romans 5:3-4, “We rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope ….”
