Sarah’s Dolls

Sarah's dolls with a wheelchair and crutchesWhen Eric and Alison gave a ‘play’ allowance to Sarah (their daughter), she knew what she wanted. She went to the American Girl store to purchase pretty new outfits for her dolls. However, when Sarah got there, she changed her mind – she got a wheelchair, crutches, and a couple of casts for broken arms and legs. This is one child in whom God is cultivating a true spirit of caring and compassion! I’m all for raising disability-awareness in kids’ hearts, so perhaps Sarah’s story will spark a Christmas gift-idea for the little girl in your life – if so, the American Girl website has it all :-).
