Niagara Falls

It’s not often that Ken and I and our traveling helpers have a chance to take a side scenic trip during a busy ministry tour, but we recently grabbed the opportunity while we were in New York. Covered in a rain slicker and soaking wet, I looked up into the underside of Horseshoe Falls and kept yelling above the roar, “God is so awesome!” It was a pure and pristine picture of our mighty God and His deafening, soul-shaking power.

But afterward, as we walked back to our hotel past casinos, barking carnies, bars and a Ripley’s Believe-It-Or-Not, I kept thinking, Lord, the epitome of your creation isn’t Niagara Falls; it’s man. And, oh, what a horrible mess people are in and how they need a Savior! It truly energized us to be all the more bold in sharing the Gospel at every event, and even with hotel clerks, maids, flight attendants and gate agents – and now that we’re back home, we are praying that God will bring about a fruitful harvest of souls saved for eternity. Thank you, friend, for supporting us with your prayers. And thank you for praying for a bountiful harvest whenever we give the Good News of Jesus!
