Nancy Writebol Reads A Place of Healing

David and Nancy Writebol are missionaries serving with SIM in Liberia. You may recognize their names from the news when Nancy was quarantined with Ebola and survived. Nancy gave her testimony to our Joni and Friends staff in Charlotte, sharing how my book A Place of Healing was a great inspiration during her confinement – while in isolation, she read it three times! Now that Nancy is healthy, she and David are back serving in Liberia. Because locals feared contamination, Nancy’s copy of A Place of Healing was destroyed with her other belongings.
