Oh my, evidences of God's creative genius are everywhere! Even in the produce section of your supermarket.

Hi, I'm Joni Eareckson Tada and, oh my, evidences of God's creative genius are everywhere! Even in the produce section of your supermarket. Last week, my friend Judy purchased an Asian pear at the market. She held it up to my mouth and even though it looked ugly and odd, I bravely bit into it. And that’s when my eyes widened in surprise. It tasted sweeter than any fruit I’d ever eaten. I could say only one thing as I went for my second bite: “Taste and see that the Lord is good!” Having experienced my very first taste of Asian pear filled me with praise to God for His creative genius – funny how that one bite of fruit resulted in a fountain of praise and wonder at His handiwork. So whether you’re tasting a summer pear or picking roses, remember, God is constantly introducing us to new sights, smells, sounds, and tastes, so that we might have fresh reasons to praise Him.
