Hi, I'm Joni Eareckson Tada. After over four decades in this wheelchair, a battle with cancer, and chronic pain … I tell you there have been times when I’ve cried out to God, “Lord, this feels like way too much.” I bet you too have at times felt like your pain, your problems, are just too much. But let me share with you a verse that inspired me through some of my toughest trials. In Hebrews chapter 10, verse 35, it says to anyone who is fainthearted, “Do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.” And, oh, what he has promised—our sufferings aren't even worth comparing with the glories that lay right beyond heaven's horizon. Today, don't throw away your assurance, your confidence in Christ for you will be richly rewarded! So, persevere, my friend!
