Grow in Grace

I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. The other day I got a letter from a girlfriend that was signed, “Grow in grace” and I sat there thinking about it. Is it really something that can be measured from year to year? As I flashed back over the years, I decided that it can be measured.  Our sense of sin should be deeper and our hope should be brighter. In my own life, I’d say I seem to see things more through spiritual eyes. I feel more of the power of godliness in my heart, and I sure hope it shows up in my life.  Because growth is a promise.  2 Corinthians 3:18 says, “And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory...” We’re always becoming a new creature in Christ. As we behold the Lord Jesus through prayer and study of His Word, we’re being transformed and growing in grace.
