Hi, I'm Joni Eareckson Tada and sometimes it’s hard to know what I really need. Just the other day a friend told me that I really needed that new iPhone app that tells you in advance which baggage carousel has your luggage when you travel. You know what? I don’t need that. I may want it, and God may graciously give it, but I don’t need it. Philippians 4 says, “…God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” Do I need more pain-free days? I sure feel like I need that! But it’s the Lord who reserves the right to determine just what my needs are – it just may be I need patience; I need to trust Him more. And He will give all the grace needed to do it – and it’ll be more than enough because it’ll be according to His glorious riches. So today, join me in being content with what God has given you, because it is exactly what you need.
